EF Financial Services is a Sole Proprietorship owned by principal and registrant Eduardo Frid. Frid became registered with the CFTC in the United States during 2009 for the purpose of providing an alternative investment opportunity to individual investors. Based in Mexico City, Frid wanted to allow for people to participate in the financial markets apart from their traditional stock and bond market investment portfolio. Accordingly Eduardo Frid has developed strategies for trading the commodity markets that seek to obtain consistent returns with measured volatility, in this way he has been able to offer total asset management transparency through individually managed accounts while continually striving to uphold the highest of professional and ethical standards.

Mr. Eduardo Frid has always been interested in the financial markets and began studying Technical and Fundamental Analysis in 1990. After a few short months of looking intently into a variety of market trading patterns and techniques Frid developed an interests and love for technical market behavior. At this same time Frid began to also develop an interest in trading psychology which ultimately led him to develop several proprietary ideas about the financial markets. These ideas over time developed into a variety of rule sets and standards for what he believed the market would be likely to do. Thus, in order to test his theories, Frid started trading equities and futures during 1995. By 1999 he had become proficient enough at trading that he decided to make it his full time profession. After a year of trading for his own account, in the year 2000, Frid founded EF Pro Trading in Mexico City. EF Pro Trading was designed and developed to be an educational firm dedicated to instructing traders how to trade the financial markets through technical analysis. Specifically EF Pro Trading focused on teaching individuals how to trade the stock and futures markets by evaluating a variety of market conditions and charting occurrences. After several years teaching others to trade, during 2003 Frid started trading proprietary accounts which included his own personal funds. Finally in 2009 after several years of trading proprietary funds Eduardo Frid decided to register with the CFTC as a CTA and became a member of the NFA in order to access the United States market place and trade for outside clients. Mr. Frid holds a BA of Industrial Design, has studied in both Mexico as well as France, and has spent many hours evaluating, testing, and trading within the financial markets.

The company operates out of Mexico but is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC") as a Commodity Trading Advisor ("CTA") and is a member of the National Futures Association ("NFA"). This registration requires the company to adhere to a variety of regulatory requirements in order to solicit for United States based investors. To ensure EF Financial Services remains in compliance with these requirements the firm is subject to audits administered by either the CFTC or NFA.
